A Good Harvest

Grateful that our crew returned safely with amazing footage for “The Salmon’s Call”, a documentary by Joy Haskell for the Knowledge Network.

We filmed in Tache, at Tl’azt’en and Nak’asdli Nations on Stuart Lake, in the waters off Campbell River and in Homalco Territory, and eventually on Chilko Lake. A shoutout to the amazing guides at Bear Camp!

“The Salmon’s Call” is a thought-provoking documentary told from the Indigenous perspective delving into the pressing issue of the declining salmon in British Columbia. Joy Haskell is directing and producing with cinematography by Nicolas Teichrob, sound by Alex Shamku and Roderick Matte (also photo credit by Roderick Matte), production manager & field producer Danielle Wilson-Brown, executive producers Henrik Meyer and Andrew Williamson. Now, editor Jessica Dymond will start her work!
