It's the Salmon's Call

Filming is underway for Joy Haskell's thought-provoking documentary told from the Indigenous perspective for the Knowledge Network. The film delves into the pressing issue of the declining salmon in British Columbia with our crew being in the field this September and October in Tache and Nak'azdli Whut'en, Chilliwack, Campbell River and the Chilcotin.

Dakelh-filmmaker Joy Haskell directs with cinematography by Nicolas Teichrob and sound recordist Alex Shamku. Field producer and production manager is Danielle Wilson-Brown, Joy's Firediva Production producing together with Cedar Island.
