Andrew co-founded Cedar Island Films together Henrik Meyer in 2018. They’ve produced THE MAGNITUDE OF ALL THINGS (NFB/TELUS/TELEFILM) by Jennifer Abbott (The Corporation) which won Best Canadian Feature Award at Planet in Focus and is being screened at RIDM (Montreal) and IDFA 2020 (Amsterdam), the world’s biggest documentary festival. Other projects include THE SEARCH, a feature documentary for the CBC with Shaman Films and the Canadian/German feature doc co-production THE WHALE AND THE RAVEN (ZDF/ARTE/NFB) which won the WIFTV Artistic Merit Award at VIFF 2019 and is available on Amazon Prime Video.  THE MAGNITUDE OF ALL THINGS, their most recent production, is described as "perhaps the most visceral, reasoned call to action for humanity since “An Inconvenient Truth”. 


Previously, Andrew executive produced the award-winning doc series EMERGENCY ROOM: LIFE & DEATH AT VGH for The Knowledge Network/Discovery and HIGH MOON, a pilot co-venture with Universal Cable Productions and GASTOWN GAMBLE for the OWN Network.


He produced SK8 LIFE which premiered at the Sundance International Film Festival.  Andrew is on the Branch Council of the CMPA - BC Producers Branch, Co-chair of the CMPA IR Committee and on the Film Advisory Board for Langara College. He's the founder of Crazy8s and volunteers with Al Gore's Climate Reality Project to help educate people about climate change.
