Northlore being filmed in the Yukon

Production is under way for the one-hour documentary/animation-hybrid NORTHLORE with production partners Melaina Sheldon and David Hamelin as well as Shirley Vercruysse of the National Film Board of Canada (NFB BC & Yukon Studio). Andrew Williamson and Henrik Meyer of Cedar Island are Executive Producers alongside Shirley Vercruysse on this venture together with the CBC, Northwestel Community TV, Yukon Media Development and Canada Media Fund.

NORTHLORE is directed by Melaina Sheldon and David Hamelin and will feature life changing stories that weave a common thread shared by all Northerners – our connection to the natural world is a primal experience. These are stories about transformation and how nature is the catalyst to a deep, spiritual awakening we all seek in our daily lives.
