Cedar Island wraps 2 German shows

It's been a busy time ay Cedar Island with two German productions back-to-back within a few weeks: the first was the Canadian shoot for the feature drama "When will it finally be again like it never was" (Wann wird es endlich wieder so wie es nie war) from Komplizen Film (Toni Erdmann, Spencer) in co-production with Warner Bros, directed by Sonja Heiss based on the acclaimed bestseller by Joachim Meyerhoff.

The second production was for one of the longest-running and highest-rating German television programs, "The Dream Ship" (Das Traumschiff) from ZDF and Polyphon Film- und Fernsehgesellschaft mbH, which is on the air for over 40 years. Its stars Florian Silbereisen (middle) and Daniel Morgenroth (left) were directed by Eva Wolf. It was an exciting and adventurous shoot in and around Vancouver, showing off the beauty of our province, from remote, fly-in-only mountain lakes to a Vancouver pride party with drag queens. Both films are now in post-production, and we're grateful to have contributed to these two very different shows.
