Banff World Media Festival 2022

Banff adequately welcomed us with a pride flag and it was a great first time back at a packed market place in over 2.5 years, feeling the vibrant and creative energy of lovely people around us and realizing it's better than another zoom meeting.

The great news about Cedar Island Films receiving the Creative BC slate development funding were topped by reuniting with the wonderfully talented, kind and generous writers and directors of our slate projects: Ernest White II, Felicia Brooker, Marie Clements and Sibel Guvenc. Working hard, pitching ideas, negotiating deals, and lots of fun!
